The Ontario Long Term Care Association is the largest association of long-term care providers in Canada and the only association that represents the full mix of long-term care operators – private, not-for-profit, charitable, and municipal.
The Association represents nearly 70% of Ontario’s 630 long-term care homes, located in communities across the province. Our members provide care and accommodation services to more than 70,000 residents annually.
Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA)
The Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) is a voluntary, non-profit association that represents operators of retirement homes in Ontario. ORCA represents over 92% of the retirement home sector in Ontario, with over 48,000 residents living in 534 residences across the province. ORCA also represents over 250 Commercial Members who provide the latest in products and services to the sector. ORCA provides leadership in areas of education and training and supports members to meet provincial regulations, adopt best practices and promote quality and excellence in all areas of operation. ORCA also strongly promotes and advocates on behalf of its members with government and other stakeholders and positions the sector for growth and success as an invaluable service to today’s growing senior population.
